There’s a longstanding tradition in the U.S. that former First Ladies have enough class to retreat from the spotlight and allow the successor to complete her duties unchallenged. Unfortunately, Michelle Obama is a classless egomaniac, and she has spent the last year traveling the world trying to steal as much attention from Melania Trump as she can.
Indy Star reported that it was just announced that Michelle will be continuing to make the rounds of the paid speaking circuit in 2018, as she is set to visit Indianapolis next month for an event hosted by the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana. Michelle will be appearing at the “A Moderated Conversation with Former First Lady Michelle Obama” at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on February 13.
The event will be moderated by Alecia DeCoudreaux, a founding board member of Women’s Fund and a former president of Mills College.
“Michelle Obama and Women’s Fund share common interests,” said Jennifer Pope Baker, the organization’s executive director. “We are both invested in improving the lives of women and girls.”
Michelle is making well over six figures for each public appearance she makes, so she is trying to make as many as she possibly can to fund her lavish lifestyle. Last year, she ditched her “when they go low, we go high” mantra to bash President Donald Trump during many of her speaking engagements.
During a recent speech, Michelle slammed “partisan” critics of her 2010 “Let’s Move!” program to combat childhood obesity, which included regulations on school lunch programs.
It was a clear and direct jab at President Trump.
“So we have a lot more work to do for sure but we got to make sure we don’t let anybody take us back,” Michelle whined. “Because the question is where are we going back to? I mean this is where you really have to look at motives. You have to stop and think, why don’t you want our kids to have good food at school?”
“What is wrong with you? And why is that a partisan issue? Why would that be political? What is going on?” she added. “Now that is up to moms. I’m talking to moms, think about this, take me out of the equation, like me, don’t like me, but think about why someone is OK with your kids eating Crap ? Why would you celebrate that? Why would you sit idly and be okay with that?”
