Joy Behar is constantly attacking President Donald Trump on her ABC talk show “The View.” This week, however, she took these attacks way too far when she went after his family as well.
Raw Story reported that Behar showed that she is way too stubborn to applaud a Trump for anything when she slammed Ivanka Trump for celebrating Oprah Winfrey’s message to the #MeToo movement at the Golden Globes on Sunday night. Though Ivanka took the liberal side on this, Behar still found a way to bash her.
“It did unite a backlash from lots of folks pointing out her dad has at least 16 women accusing him of sexual misconduct,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg began. “But is she not allowed to say, ‘hey, that’s pretty great?’”
“I think the word you’re looking for is ‘clueless,’” Behar barked. “You know? I think she’s clueless. Or she seems to be in denial about her father. Like, ‘this #MeToo thing is about other guys, not Daddy.’ Because she’s very much devoted to her father.”
Behar went on to argue that Patti Davis, daughter of former President Ronald Reagan, was very quick to come out against her father’s policies while he was in office.
“She’s got a big backlash,” Behar continued. “This one doesn’t want to get that. She’s got the backlash from the left.”
“She wants the privilege from Daddy but she wants to let women know, ‘I’m here for you and we’re in this together.’ But it’s really not showing through,” said guest host Ashley Graham. “Exactly what did she do for women? Has anything been passed yet? Because I know she was really about the rights of women who are pregnant and what happens afterwards.”
When Sunny Hostin pointed out that Ivanka might not believe the women who accused her father, Behar jumped in again.
“Why believe this woman and not that woman, though?” Behar asked. “Where’s the logic in that? There is none.”
Behar is conveniently ignoring the fact that just one year ago, she herself called Bill Clinton’s rape accusers “tramps.” That video has now come back to haunt her, showing just what a hypocrite she really is.
